Thanksgiving was spent at my brothers, and I made the usual pies (pecan, pumpkin, apple). I also took my new traditional balsamic-bacon glazed brussel sprouts, which is a take on a Rachel Ray recipe I saw a few years ago.
As a fun touch I made matching shirts for the kiddos to wear. It was super easy – I didn’t even sew them, I just cut out feathers and a turkey body and used stitch witch to apply them to a plain white t-shirt. I threw in a little fabric tu-tu for Z as an add-on.
They looked super cute for the day, but it was tough to get a good picture.
